Tips for Beginning Photographers (part 2)

Hey Everyone! So yesterday I shared some tips with you for starting out as a photographer, and now I'm going to share with you some tips for taking better photos!

 - DISTANCE: For instance, if you're taking a picture of a flower, do you really want? the stems and the other flowers in there? Sure, sometimes other flowers in the background could be good, but, its good to get up close.

 - LIGHT: Know where the light will fall in your photo: Knowing where there will be bright spots or glares in your photo can help a lot by positioning, which I'll mention a bit more about next, because you obviously don't want the subject of the photo to have a huge glare.

 - POSITION: Most people shoot pictures from the same basic angle, whatever angle they first see it from, or whatever angle and position seems most obvious, so, to make your picture more unique, thing about what position and angle to take your photos from, just by taking a few seconds you can greatly improve your pictures.

 - FLASH: The flash on your camera can be complicated, so knowing when and when not to use it can help a lot!! You probably thing that you only want flash for nighttime and such, but it all matters on what time of day it it, what the weather is, and where the sunlight falls.  A great way to practice this is take two pictures of the same subject, one with flash and one without, and see which one came out better.

Well, that's all I have for you today!
